Emergency Menu for Group Homes
We are excited to announce a significant development that will facilitate the emergency preparedness at the group homes. Our team has developed a 5-day cycle of freeze-dried food with regular and vegetarian options.
Our Emergency Menu provides balanced and wholesome meals to ensure that the nutritional needs of our clients are met even in emergency situations. We have incorporated dehydrated food into our emergency meal planning. Dehydrated food offers several advantages in emergency situations, including extended shelf life and reduced storage space requirements. While we have focused on practicality, we have not compromised on quality and nutrition. The Freeze- dried packages will be provided from Mountain House emergency kits.
4-Week Alternate Menu for Emergencies
The four-week emergency menu is a supplemental program to the menu cycle which offers a low production supplemental menu when short of staff or other situations due to the pandemic.
