An Experienced Network of Dietitians and Nutritionists
Nutrition Therapy Essentials was founded by Suzanne Ousey in 2012, after more than 25 years of experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics. NTE employs a group of experienced and passionate registered dietary nutritionists that works with healthcare and residential communities to bring positive changes and outcomes to its residents.
Our organization trains dietetic interns in long-term care communities by pairing them with our network of experienced RDNs, many of whom were once dietetic interns for NTE. This grassroots approach helps create a network of dietitians dedicated to changing people’s lives one meal at a time.

Dietetic Interns
Many of our current RDNs began their relationship with NTE in our immersive dietetic internship program. This provides an opportunity for students to work alongside our experts in the communities we serve, learning everything about our industry while receiving specialized training in preparation for the Commission on Dietetic Registration exam.
